Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts Monday through Thursday nights
• Emergency room setting performing a wide variety of ultrasound scans
• 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• Equipment experience needed: Philips and Siemens ultrasound systems
• Skills required include: hernia scans, isolation precautions/PPE, adult patients
• Scan types include: abdominal aorta, appendix, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, spleen
• OB/GYN scans: all trimesters, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, placenta previa
• Genitourinary scans: bladder, ovaries, renal/bladder, uterus, vaginal
• Specialty scans: superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, thyroid, DVT arms and legs
• NICU head scans, pediatric and obstetric cases
• Portable ultrasound capabilities and PACS system experience
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Must comply with 50-mile local radius requirement

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
