Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Variable shifts - 3x12s or 4x10s with rotating days off
• Schedule varies each week with no set days guaranteed
• Must be flexible as block schedule cannot be approved
• Call required - varies but averages 3-6 days in a 28-day cycle
• Weekend coverage required - averages every 4th or 5th weekend
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Work with patients of all ages including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 35-40 patients in 13-room/13-bed unit
• Experience needed in General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma and ENT procedures
• Pediatric experience preferred
• 2 years of experience required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Extensive skills required including bariatric surgery, cardiovascular procedures, robotic surgery, trauma cases, and various specialized surgical procedures
• Must complete on-site drug screen with multiple panels
• Hard documents due 3 business days prior to start date
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions allowed
• Must work some holidays
