Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule with holidays as needed
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Block scheduling format
• Weekend coverage required
• Float not required, call not required
• Minimum 2 years experience required - first time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC
• Preferred certifications: NRP, PALS
• Previous charge RN experience preferred
• MedHost charting system experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• General ED combined adult/pediatric experience required
• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Daily census of 30 patients with 12 rooms and 12 beds
• Common patient diagnoses include CHF, pneumonia, psych, UTI, HTN, DKA, CVA, MI
• Work with specialized equipment including Ranger Blood/Fluid Warmer, Bair Hugger, Blanket Warmer, and Baxter Spectrum IV pumps
• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
