Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM or 6:30 AM until 4:30 PM or 5:00 PM
• Rotating call schedule required 2 weeks per month
• 3 years of experience required
• Neurovascular experience preferred
• First time travelers will be considered
• Virginia license required (VA or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Required certifications: ARRT CI, BLS, ACLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must pass EKG testing with 80% or higher (one attempt only, no remediation available)
• Complete 3 hours of pre-start modules (billable)
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, embolization, catheter/drain exchange, and various vascular interventions
• Work with patients across age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Skills include special procedures, PACS, chest tube placement, gastrostomy, nephrostomy, and carotid stenting
• Maintain sterile field, perform equipment setup, and provide accurate monitoring
• Must have permanent address more than 50 miles from facility (radius rule applies)
• No license or background hits will be accepted - any history eliminates consideration
• Must be able to pass fit testing (facility cannot accommodate PAPR)
