Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Work with medical-surgical telemetry patients with 1:6 patient ratio
• Majority of patients include medical conditions such as COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, COVID-19, chest pain, and small bowel obstruction
• Small surgical caseload of approximately 1-3 post-surgical cases per day including gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, colectomy, mastectomy, appendectomy, and cholecystectomy
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Telemetry and IV start skills required
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• 1.5 years of nursing experience required
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• 100% floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local Indiana nurses not accepted for this position
• Must have nursing license in hand prior to start date

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
