Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work as a registered nurse on a Med Surg/ENT/Plastic Surgery unit
• Patient ratios of 1:5 during regular shifts, 1:3 on days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend requirement
• Self-scheduling system
• Float within service line to meet facility needs
• 2 years of nursing experience required (will consider 1+ year with Level I/Teaching facility experience)
• Required certifications: ACLS and BCLS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Care for adult patients with ENT and plastic surgery diagnoses
• Specialized care includes cuffed/cuffless tracheostomies, total laryngectomies, carotid blowout precautions, and free flap patients
• Perform procedures including tracheostomy care, free flap monitoring, drain care, tube feeding, wound care, phlebotomy, IV access, and central line management
• Telemetry monitoring required
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract
• No on-call requirements
• Must reside outside 75-mile radius from facility
