Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) and holiday coverage as needed
• Patient ratio of 3:1 during all shifts
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: NIHSS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Float to rehabilitation unit as needed
• 8-hour orientation provided
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, completed before start date)
• Care for patients with primary focus on pulmonary conditions including COPD, pneumonia, tracheostomy patients, high flow oxygen modalities
• Manage patients with end stage renal disease, CHF, stroke overflow, alcohol withdrawal, and GI bleeding
• Handle ventilated patients with tracheostomy, DKA with insulin drips, sepsis, and pulmonary hypertension patients on Remodulin drips
• Work in tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Skills required include telemetry monitoring, IV insulin protocols, feeding tube management, arterial line management, central line care, and wound care
• Must be comfortable with isolation precautions and PPE protocols
