Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech
Job Details:
• Work split 12-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• First half of shift covers breaks, lunches, and relief for other service lines
• Peripheral vascular and hybrid OR experience required
• Must have experience in general, robotics, colon, and orthopedic procedures
• Call required and will participate in call schedule
• Must have 3 years of surgical tech experience
• First time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (address on driver's license to site address)
• Weekend coverage required based on department needs
• Must be comfortable with emergency team assignments during emergency events
• Experience required with procedures including: abdominal aortic aneurysm, endovascular AAA, carotid endarterectomy, fem-pop/tib bypass, embolectomy, aortograms/fistulagrams, AV fistulas, AV grafts, TAH, TLH, vaginal hysterectomy, robotic cases, laparoscopic procedures, D&C, laparotomy, gastrectomy/liver resection, mastectomy, thyroidectomy, soft tissue procedures, ECMO, Whipple, colectomy, abdominal perineal resection, anal cases, and PCNL
• Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA/NCCT
• Compact or Louisiana license required upon submittal
• Must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of contract signing
• Two manager/supervisor references required for clearance
• Orientation held 5 days a week with billable modules

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
