Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work weekend schedule Friday through Sunday
• No call requirements
• Float within facility/scope of practice and to outpatient as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: BLS, CNMT, ARRT N
• Must have experience with equipment: GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba
• Required skills include: HIDA Scan, 3 Phase, Limited, Whole Body, DTPA Aerosol, Perfusion, Ventilation/Perfusion, Cancer Survey, I-123 Uptake Scan, Uptake Scan, Pharmacological Stress, Thallium stress test
• Must be proficient in isolation precautions/PPE, starting and maintaining IVs, storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials
• Experience with any charting system required
• Must work required holidays based on assignment period (1-2 holidays if they fall during assignment, 2 out of 3 if three holidays fall during assignment)
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Georgia or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred
