Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• 3 years of open heart experience required
• Pediatric cardiovascular and vascular hybrid experience preferred
• On-call required with 4 call teams available
• Take an average of 3 days of call each week and 1-2 weekends per month
• Weekend call typically runs Friday 1500 to Monday 0630
• Call team schedules: CV1 (1500-0630), CV2 (1500-2300), Peds (1500-0630 Mon/Tues/Thurs), Hybrid (1500-0630)
• Weekend call teams include CV and Hybrid
• Block scheduling may be approved and needs discussion during interview
• 64 hours of orientation required
• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Required certifications: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
