RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Provide direct nursing care for patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Manage care assignments with 5:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• Work on a 24-bed Med Surg Telemetry unit with average daily census of 17 patients
• Self-scheduling with weekend coverage required and call shifts depending on census
• 36-hour orientation period with completion of non-billable modules through e-learning
• One pre-approved time off request per contract and only one holiday approval
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (all must be AHA certified)
• California RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, IV management, wound care, chest tube care, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and central line care
• Care for patients with diagnoses including CHF, COPD, diabetes, CVA, pneumonia, sepsis, and post-surgical conditions
• Demonstrate leadership skills through charge nurse functions
• 7-year work history verification required
