Description
Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• Work 36 or 48 hours per week with 4:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• May be required to float to other emergency departments
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 27-room emergency department with daily census of 150 patients
• 2+ years of experience required with previous travel experience highly preferred
• Must graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, CPI, NIHSS, NRP, SAFE
• Skills include triage, general emergency department care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, 12-lead EKG/ECG, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, IV management, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must have Texas nursing license in-hand with Nursys verification
• Lab completion required within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• Local radius restriction of 110 miles applies

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
