RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio in 12-bed CCU unit
• Care for variety of medical and surgical patients including respiratory failures, pneumonia, COPD exacerbations, DKA, vascular and general surgery patients
• Manage ventilator patients, arterial lines, multiple drips, and pressure support
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures
• Required to float within skillset as needed
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in 6-week scheduling block
• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS, CCRN
• 2+ years of ICU experience preferred
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
• Must have experience with IV therapy, arterial line management, central/PICC line care, blood product administration
• Experience required with respiratory support including BiPAP, CPAP, ventilated patient care
• Must be comfortable with continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, and cardiac/vasoactive drip titration
