Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and Wednesday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call or weekend responsibilities
• Interventional radiology experience required
• 2 years of experience and travel experience required
• Maryland license required
• Required certifications: ARRT-R, ACLS, BLS, and fluoroscopy permit
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Scrubbing for IR, vascular, and pain procedures is mandatory
• Must be proficient in operating Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle interventional procedures including tunneled catheter placements, embolizations, drain placements, suprapubic catheter placements, and PEG tube placements
• Perform pain management procedures such as epidural blocks and radiofrequency ablations
• Conduct vascular procedures including angiograms, thrombectomies, fistulograms, and IVC filter placements
• Charting system experience in Cerner required
• Two supervisor references required
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of signing contract
