Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Wednesday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call or weekend responsibilities
• 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• IR experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT-R, ACLS, BLS, and fluoro permit
• MD license required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Scrubbing for IR, vascular, and pain procedures is mandatory
• Must be proficient in operating the Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm
• Handle interventional procedures including tunneled catheter placements, embolizations, drain placements
• Perform pain management procedures such as epidural blocks and radiofrequency ablations
• Conduct vascular procedures including angiograms, thrombectomies, and IVC filter placements
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in 2-room unit
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
