RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts from 07:00-15:30 (flexible schedule may include 4x10s depending on OR schedule)
• 13-week contract assignment with ASAP start date
• Weekend coverage required (approximately 1 every 3 weeks, Friday-Sunday)
• Call shifts required approximately 10 shifts per month (in pairs of 2) with minimum 1-hour callback
• Floating required throughout small critical access hospital including OR, Circulating, PACU, Pre/Post Op
• Must wear blue scrubs
• Handle approximately 100 cases per month with low acuity, including 1-2 C-sections monthly
• Must have 3 years of experience in OR, Circulating, PACU, and Pre/Post Op with no exceptions
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS; CNOR preferred
• Missouri license or compact license required upon submission
• Required skills include endoscopic procedures, general surgery, gynecology (including C-sections), orthopedic, podiatry, urology, pediatric ENT, and emergency management
• Must be proficient with electrosurgical units, fiber optic equipment, Steris systems, blood product administration, cardiac monitoring, conscious sedation monitoring, IV starts, and wound management
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Must be ready to start immediately
