RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour day/night rotation shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Floating to other units is required
• Must maintain patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7 for Med Surg patients
• Work on high volume units with 26-51 beds
• Care for CHF patients, acute MI patients, post device care (pacemakers), patients with arrhythmias, general surgery patients, colon rectal procedures, ostomies, plastic and cosmetic procedures, breast procedures and reconstruction surgeries
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Must have New York state license in hand before submission
• 1+ year of nursing experience required
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility
• Scrub color requirements: Any combination of navy and white
• Skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, blood product administration, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, wound care, and isolation precautions
• Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours)
