Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour shifts with potential to pick up a 4th shift occasionally
• 1:2 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Float requirement to ICUs and SDUs
• Weekend coverage required
• 20 hours of orientation provided
• Must have 2 years of specialty experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiac conditions
• Patient diagnoses include cardiogenic shock, decompensated heart failure, STEMI/NSTEMI, post cardiac arrest, TAVR, pulmonary hypertension, and pulmonary embolism
• Work in high acuity heart failure unit at heart transplant center providing cardiology critical care
• Perform special procedures including pericardial drains/windows, targeted temperature management, and pacemaker placement
• Operate specialized equipment including PA catheters, IABP, Impella, transvenous pacemakers, CRRT, EKOS catheters, and CADD pumps for remodulin infusion
• May be assigned to "Emergency Team" with expectation to stay at facility during emergency events
• Must be over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
• Compact or Louisiana license required upon submittal
• NURSYS reports required (within 4 weeks of submission)

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
