Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend coverage
• Float pool position that may require working in 2 different units during a 12-hour shift depending on need
• Float pool is based out of McCann unit
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for both days and nights
• Must have 2 years of experience and cardiac experience required
• First-time travelers okay with 2-3 years of experience
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Documentation system: Cerner (experience preferred but not required)
• Must have Massachusetts license in hand at time of submission
• Skills required include telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, titration of insulin drips, managing cardiac drips without titration, Cardizem drips, and Amiodarone drips
• Float pool experience preferred
• Standard contract length is 14 weeks
• May work with Avasure video monitoring system that watches up to 12 patients
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 hour shifts or 48 hours for 4x12 hour shifts
• Client may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
