Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:6-7 (normal staffing supports 1:6, may flex to 1:7 for unplanned absences)
• Every other weekend requirement
• On-call PRN for low census situations
• Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Daily census of 34-36 patients per unit
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Free parking provided
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Must be available for hurricane season emergency response teams (June-November)
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with medical, surgical, cardiac, pulmonary, and orthopedic conditions
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, wound care, chest tubes, catheters, and specialty equipment management
• 60-mile local radius restriction - locals not accepted
