RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Patient ratios: Days 1:6, Nights 1:7, Weekends 1:8
• 25-bed unit with daily census of approximately 20 patients
• Float to other units as needed
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Any nursing uniform color scrubs acceptable
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• New York nursing license required in hand to submit
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including COPD, pneumonia, abdominal pain, cellulitis, and chest pain
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV management, blood product administration, central and PICC line care, airway management, and isolation precautions
• Pre-start modules required (up to 10 hours total, with 5 hours billable)
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and radiology
