RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM with call responsibilities
• Take 7 on-call shifts and 5 late shifts within every 6-week period
• Must schedule one full weekend of call (Friday through Sunday) together per cycle
• One Saturday shift for elective cases required during each 6-week period
• Must be able to return to hospital within 30 minutes when called
• One holiday per 13-week contract required (in rotation with staff)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS preferred
• Must have scrub experience and be skilled in cardiac cath lab procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, PTCA, stent placement, atherectomy, temp pacer, Impella, IABP, TAVR, Watchman, Mitraclip
• Experience with sterile technique, EKG lead placement, dysrhythmia recognition, hemodynamic monitoring
• Able to scrub/circulate all interventional and structural heart procedures
• Experience with Epic/Cupid/Xper monitoring systems required
• Minimum 2 years experience required with travel experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 1:1 serving adult patients in 6 procedure rooms with daily census of 15-20
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• First-time travelers not accepted
