Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Thursday schedule
• Every other weekend required unless specified elsewhere
• Call requirements apply
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Work with adult to geriatric patient population
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
• Minimum 1 year experience required (1st timers accepted)
• Must wear pewter gray scrubs
• Work with Epic, Pyxis, GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens & Toshiba systems
• Perform MRI imaging including diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging
• Complete image post-processing including apparent diffusion coefficient mapping and subtraction
• Conduct multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and perfusion studies
• Handle adult acute care and outpatient procedures
• Perform imaging of abdomen, breast, chest, brain, face/soft tissue neck, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic areas
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• Full compliance required to start on time
