Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - MICU
Job Details:
• Work in a high acuity Medical Intensive Care Unit
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for all shifts (days, nights, weekends)
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Weekend coverage required
• Float requirement as needed
• Must have 2 years of experience in specialty
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with ICU diagnoses
• Provide COVID care and pronation therapy
• Perform pronation therapy and vasopressor titrations
• Work with CRRT dialysis equipment and intraaortic balloon pumps
• Unit may overflow SICU patients at times
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• Preferred certifications: CPI, NIHSS, CCRN
• EPIC experience required
• Louisiana nursing license or compact license required upon submission
• Must be available for emergency team assignment during facility emergencies
• No block scheduling requests accepted
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
• NURSYS report required with profile (must be current within 4 weeks)
• No call-ins permitted

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
