RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Overnight call rotation required
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Float required within unit
• Must handle workload independently and be competent to start immediately
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:6 with average daily census of 5-6 patients per room
• Work alongside IR attendings, IR Fellows, and Radiology Residents
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (local travelers not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
• Emergency team assignment may be required during emergency events
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, NIH, PALS
• Required skills: Circulator experience, conscious sedation, telemetry
• Preferred skills: Level 1 trauma experience, scrub experience, neuro IR experience, ICU/ED/Tele step down experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Preferred experience with infants and pediatrics
• Louisiana or Compact license required upon submittal
• NURSYS report required within 4 weeks of submission
