Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - IR
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Schedule includes Saturday, Sunday, Monday OR Friday, Saturday, Sunday rotation
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Overnight call rotation required
• Average daily census of 5-6 patients per room with 1:6 staffing ratio
• Must handle workload independently and be competent to jump in immediately
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Float required within unit
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must have 2 years of experience in specialty
• Travel experience required
• Must be over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers)
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, NIH, PALS
• Required skills: Circulator experience, conscious sedation, telemetry
• Preferred skills: Level 1 trauma experience, scrub experience, neuro IR experience, ICU/ED/Tele step down experience
• Preferred experience with infants and pediatrics
• Work alongside IR attendings, IR Fellows, and Radiology Residents
• Compact or Louisiana license required upon submittal
• May be assigned to Emergency Team during emergency events with expectation to stay at facility

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
