Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every other weekend required
• Multi-modality technologist providing quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT
• Must effectively explain procedures to patients and ensure competency in procedures being performed
• Produce images for interpretation and requests of licensed practitioners
• Possible floating to like units within scope to meet facility needs
• No on-call responsibilities
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 2 years of experience required - first-timers not accepted
• Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) & Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C)
• Required certifications: SCRQSA, BLS, ACLS (will accept pending if obtained within 2-3 weeks of hire)
• Travel experience required
• Highly preferred experience: Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, Orthopedic exams in both modalities, Siemens equipment, EPIC, PACS
• Agency must provide radiation badges
• Scrub color: Teal blue top, black bottoms
• Charting system: Epic
• Work with adult acute care, pediatric acute care, emergency department patients
• Perform various CT procedures including coronary CTA, vascular CTA, contrast administration
• Handle trauma cases, isolation precautions, and starting peripheral IVs
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

This is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 trauma center with 865 staffed beds. The facility provides comprehensive emergency and trauma services, serving adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations. The hospital features advanced imaging equipment including Siemens X-ray and CT systems, and offers interpretation services and radiology support. The facility handles complex cases including STEMI, stroke/CVA, cardiac, and trauma patients, with some outpatient procedures available.
