Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work schedule: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM plus one 8-hour shift 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM every other week
• Weekend coverage included in call requirements
• Call requirements: 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks (subject to change based on departmental needs)
• Float within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• Patient ratio: 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Specializes in cardiovascular/thoracic procedures, transplant, and robotics (thoracic preferred)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Experience with general OR, hybrid OR, teaching hospital environment preferred
• Skills include CVOR procedures, trauma care, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), endovascular procedures, and robotic surgery
• Must be available to work major holidays if they fall during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Must complete compliance documents by Tuesday prior to start date
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references required (Manager level or above)
