Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - CVOR
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Monday through Friday schedule with rotating start times: 6:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM
• On-call requirements: 3-4 weekday and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule (may vary based on unit needs)
• 40-minute response time from call to clock-in for emergency cases
• Must have 2 years of experience (will consider 1 year if Level 1 trauma facility experience)
• BSN preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Scrub and circulate experience required for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Handle cardiac and thoracic cases primarily, plus vascular procedures, transplants, and Whipple procedures
• Must have heart and lung transplant experience for night shift
• Float within service line as needed
• Work in 16-room cardiovascular operating room department
• Treat adult patients in high-acuity emergency and urgent cases
• Must have sufficient Level 1 trauma experience
• Dress code: Navy scrubs
• Use EPIC charting system
• Responsible for entering missing instruments into CensiTrac system
• Weekend coverage required per call policy
• No more than 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
• Must reside at least 75 miles from facility

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
