RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts from 6:15 PM to 6:45 AM
• Rotating shift times as needed Monday through Friday
• Weekend coverage required per call policy - every other weekend
• On-call required as needed: 3-4 weekday and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule
• Holiday coverage as needed (discussed in advance)
• Must have scrub experience for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Circulating experience required
• 2 years of experience required (will consider 1 year if from Level 1 trauma facility)
• Must float within service line as needed
• Handle cardiac and thoracic cases primarily
• Perform vascular procedures (open and endovascular), transplant cases (liver, kidney, pancreas), Whipples, and other complex procedures
• Work in 16-room department handling urgent emergent cases
• Must respond within 40 minutes from call to clock-in for emergency cases
• Heart and lung transplant experience required for night shift
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• BSN preferred
• Charting system: EPIC (experience preferred)
• Navy scrubs required
• Responsible for entering missing instruments into CensiTrac system
• No more than 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
• Must live at least 75 miles from facility
