Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Weekend-only schedule working 3 12-hour shifts either Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday
• Primary call on one weekend night then flip to secondary the next night (rotating basis)
• On-call required with 30-minute response time
• Rotating weekends required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required (1 year acceptable with neuro and scrub experience)
• Neuro IR experience required
• Scrub experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must live over 65 miles from facility address
• Work with patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 30 patients in 5-room unit
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT VI, ARRT R, BLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing contract
• Work with specialized equipment including fluoro equipment, ultrasound, CT scanner, cryo machine, RF machine
• Perform various procedures including angiography, embolization, stent placement, biopsies, and vascular interventions
• May be assigned to Emergency Team during facility emergency events
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

This major medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility with 700 beds providing advanced interventional radiology services. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment including Siemens single and biplane systems, GE biplane equipment, ultrasound technology, and specialized procedural CT scanners. The medical center offers a full range of interventional procedures and maintains high standards for patient care across multiple specialties including oncology, neurology, gastroenterology, and cardiovascular services.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
