Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• ED HOLD unit with MS and PCU type patients in ED boarding area
• Float position that can be floated to inpatient PCU unit
• 4-bed unit with ratios of 1:5-6 patients, can expand to 8-10 bed unit based on need
• Team nursing environment with RN/LPN collaboration and delegation responsibilities
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• High-paced environment with up to 15 admissions per day due to constant turnover
• Care for admitted patients within Emergency Department waiting transfer to MedSurg/PCU units
• 2 years of experience required with travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Must be comfortable with telemetry, central line care, PICC line management, vasoactive drips, PCA pumps, and blood product administration
• No on-call requirements
• Locals not accepted for this position
• First-time travelers not accepted

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
