Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 10 call shifts per month required with weekend call included
• Call requirement: 1-2 week nights per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM and every 3rd or 4th weekend
• Weekend requirement: Every 3rd or 4th weekend
• Guaranteed 40 hours per workweek
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures for patients from pediatric through geriatric
• Follow physician instructions, prepare and operate equipment, and position patients correctly
• May be required to scrub into procedures as needed
• Knowledge of sterile technique and supplies used during special procedures required
• Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when patient condition doesn't permit routine positioning
• Required certifications: ARRT(R), BLS
• Current Indiana State Department of Health license in Radiology Technologist required
• 18 months of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Floating is 100% required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
• May be required to obtain advanced credential in interventional radiology if applicable

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
