RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in busy cardiac catheterization lab at Level 1 trauma center
• Handle 18-25 cases per day in 4-room facility
• On call 1-2 times per 6-week period
• Self-scheduling available
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Must have specialized cardiac catheterization experience with minimum 2 years in busy lab
• Circulating procedures required, monitoring and scrubbing preferred
• AORN knowledge required
• Procedures include LHC, RHC, biopsy, PCI, peripherals, structural heart
• Work with specialized equipment: GE XRay, GE MacLab, Impella, IABP, FFR, iFR, OCT, IVUS, vascular ultrasound
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Skills needed: scrub procedures, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, ventilator management, circulate procedures
• EPIC charting experience required
• Travel experience required with minimum 1 year total experience
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• Virginia or compact state license required at time of submittal
• May float within scope if needed
• Natural nail policy in effect
• Complete 6 hours of non-billable modules during orientation week
