RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule
• Must have scrub experience and 2 years of direct CVOR experience
• Cardiac call required - approximately 6 minimum per month (may be up to 10 if short staffed)
• Call schedule includes 1 per weekday and 2 weekend shifts (weekends are 24-hour shifts)
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• Work with cardiac OR cases and other surgical cases when no CVOR cases available
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Charting system: EPIC
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum
• Complete time-sensitive modules (6-15 hours, non-billable) pre-start and annually
• Participate in teaching and training of students and new staff
• Must be willing to work with specialized equipment including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, IABP, TAVR, and various cardiac surgical procedures
• Free parking in any unrestricted space
• All RTO must be submitted at time of application
