RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery
• Provide care for patients with a broad range of medical conditions in the ICU/CCU setting
• Must live 150 miles or more from facility
• May be required to float to different floors or other campus locations
• Travel experience preferred
• 2 years of experience in service line required
• Required certifications: RN license, BCLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Texas RN license required with license in hand for submittal
• Altera charting system experience preferred but not required
• Must complete orientation modules (average 6-8 hours, non-billable)
• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Hard document due date: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start date
• May accommodate requested time off if able to work full hours around time off or missing only 1-2 shifts maximum
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Facility conducts mandatory drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing
