Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Perfusionist - Perfusionist

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour day shifts with shift times varying based on operational needs
• Must have minimum 5 years of experience in perfusion
• Must be comfortable operating in fast-paced emergent cardiac cases
• Must have ability to independently assist in ECMO cannulation for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
• ECMO transport experience is mandatory
• Must have Spectrum pump experience as facility recently transitioned to these pumps
• Experience required with Terumo system 1, Quest MPS 2/3 Cardioplegia, ISTAT, Centrimag, Impella 5.5, Bellmont Hyperthermia Kit, CardioHelp, Angiovac, and CardioQuip HC
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP)
• Bachelor's degree in related field required
• Work setting experience required: CVOR, General OR, Pedi CVOR, Pedi General OR, and Trauma Level 1
• Must have at least 1 year of EPIC experience
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
• Must be able to care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Scrubs provided by the unit
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of contract signing
