RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for a 13-week contract
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Patient ratios: 1:5 for telemetry (1:7 for med surg)
• Floating within skillset required
• Dress code: Any combination of navy blue and white scrubs
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not compact)
• 1 year of experience required
• Must have experience in MS/Tele settings
• Required clinical skills include IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, peripheral line care/management, cardiac monitoring & emergency response, interpretation & management of dysrhythmias, rapid response/code team use
• Additional skills needed: nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac
• Care for patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, post MI, and cardiac pharmacologic interventions
• Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted
• First-time travelers accepted
• Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours)

This is a 528-bed acute care teaching facility that is Magnet-recognized and certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center. The facility is affiliated with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park, offering specialized services through multiple institutes including heart, cancer, and neuroscience programs. The 26-bed unit specializes in caring for cardiac patients and provides advanced surgical programs including vascular, thoracic, and surgical oncology services.
