Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Provide radiation therapy treatments for adult outpatient population
• Work with daily census of 31 patients and 31 visits per day across 2 treatment rooms
• Operate 2 Varian Edge TrueBeams with CBCT/kV/MV OBI equipment
• Utilize specialized techniques including DIBH, SBRT, IMRT/VMAT
• Work with Siemens goOpenPro CT Simulation equipment
• Join existing team of 4 radiation therapists in 2 physician practice
• Collaborate with on-site full-time physics and dosimetry team
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Must have ARRT (T) certification and BLS certification
• Must be graduate of accredited radiology program
• 3 years of experience strongly preferred, minimum 2 years considered
• Required skills include respiratory gating, radiation safety, Vision RT, billing for treatment types and devices
• Experience needed with CBCT/kV/mV imaging, external beam therapy, IMRT, Varis-Vision/ARIA, TrueBeam, and ARIA systems
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Must be available to complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting offer
