RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4/10 hour shifts Saturday through Tuesday starting at 7:00 AM
• Optional on-call availability
• 3+ years of nursing experience required with 6 months of travel experience
• Specialized experience in Ophthalmology with well-rounded intraoperative skill set required
• Experience with cataract and vitrectomy procedures essential
• Required certifications: California RN License, BLS, ACLS (all AHA certifications must be in hand at time of submission)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Responsible for overall management of nursing care from admission to discharge
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, personal hygiene and protection
• Respond to medical and environmental emergencies
• Apply nursing process principles within established policies and procedures
• Complete orientation modules through e-learning (average 1-5 hours)
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• 2 years minimum experience required for submission
