Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Block scheduling type with 1:1 patient ratios during days
• Work in a 7-room outpatient surgery setting
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS
• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience with ambulatory OR, hybrid OR, and endoscopic sinus procedures
• Perform laparoscopic assisted cases, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy
• Handle hernia repair, mastectomy, cervical fusions, laminectomy/discectomy procedures
• Experience with orthopedic procedures including total joint replacement, arthroscopy, carpal tunnel release
• Work with plastic surgery procedures including abdominoplasty and breast augmentation
• Knowledge of specialized equipment including cell saver, Hana table, Steris, laser safety
• Maintain infection control protocols and specimen handling procedures
• Care for patients of all age groups from infants to geriatrics
• Work with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, and radiology
• Must have CA licensure in hand at time of submittal
• 7-year work history verification required

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
