Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour evening shifts from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• 40 hours per week, 13-week assignment
• No call requirements or float requirements
• Weekend coverage may be required with 2-week notice if regular weekend tech is unavailable
• Must have minimum 2 years of experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT CT
• Must have experience with Siemens equipment
• Work setting skills required: Adult Acute Care, ICU, and Emergency Department
• Must be skilled in isolation precautions, contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, and venipuncture
• Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal studies
• Handle busy outpatient and emergency department schedule
• Work with patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Use Epic charting system and PACS equipment
• 16 hours of unit orientation with ongoing support
• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)
• Must be fully available for schedule changes during first week
