RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 day or night shifts with some weekend coverage required
• Serve as charge nurse every shift with $3 charge differential
• Maintain 1:5 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for 39-bed unit treating patients with medical diseases including hospice, pain control, diabetic, heart, stroke, and telemetry
• Handle designated COVID and flu patients with increased oxygen requirements up to 15 liters and high flow oxygenation
• Provide specialized care for trach patients on modified assignments
• Must have New York license in hand prior to submission
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must have leadership experience in Med Surg within the past year
• Experience with scheduling and coaching staff required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must be located more than 75 miles from facility
• Floating may be required
• Skills include dysrhythmia interpretation and management, rapid response/code team use, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions
• Complete pre-start modules (up to 5 billable hours)
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
