RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work Monday-Friday set schedule with weekday and weekend call required
• Approximately 14 shifts per month
• Work in 2-room operating room environment
• Focus on GYN and General surgery procedures
• Robot experience preferred, particularly with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must be skilled in general OR procedures, anterior/posterior repair, dilation & curettage, cystoscopy, starting peripheral IVs
• Experience needed in colorectal and gastrointestinal robotic surgery
• Handle laparoscopic assisted cases including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair
• Perform gynecological procedures including hysterectomy, bilateral tubal ligation, and robotic gynecologic surgery
• Work with adult patient population
• Manage malignant hyperthermia situations and electrosurgical units
• Administer blood and blood products, handle specimen labeling, and follow universal protocol procedures
• Access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
