Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Five 8-hour days per week schedule
• Rotate on-call responsibilities with other staff members
• Rotate weekend coverage with other staff members
• 2+ years of MRI technologist experience required
• BLS and ARRT certification required
• GE equipment experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must have Virginia or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Work with adult, adolescent, and geriatric patient populations
• Operate in 2-room MRI department
• Patient ratios: 2 patients during days, 2 patients during nights, 1 patient on weekends
• Skills include adult acute care, adult outpatient, abdomen, breast, chest imaging
• Experience with PACS, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba equipment
• Perform brain, spine, and soft tissue imaging procedures
• Complete 3 hours of pre-start modules (billable)
• Must pass fit testing requirements - facility cannot accommodate PAPR
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed per contract
• Must have clean license and background check with no prior hits
