RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Patient ratios: 1:5 for telemetry (1:7 for MedSurg)
• 26-bed unit specializing in post PCI, pacemaker, AICD, post MI, and cardiac pharmacologic intervention patients
• Required to float within skillset
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not compact)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• MS/Tele experience required
• Must be located more than 75 miles from facility
• First-time travelers accepted
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• Clinical skills include IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, peripheral line care/management, cardiac monitoring & emergency response, interpretation & management of dysrhythmias, rapid response/code team use, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, wound care/wound vac, and isolation precautions
• Pre-start modules required (up to 10 hours total, 5 hours billable)
• Call off policy allows up to three shifts during 13-week contract without charges

The hospital is affiliated with major healthcare organizations and offers specialized services through multiple institutes including heart, cancer, neuroscience, pediatric emergency care, birthing services, and advanced surgical programs including vascular, thoracic, and surgical oncology.
