Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts per week from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 5 to 6 nights of call monthly starting at 5:00 PM and ending at 6:30 AM
• 1 weekend of call monthly starting Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 6:30 AM
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, RCIS or ARRT, ACLS, and Maryland license
• Strong vascular procedure experience required
• Must be proficient in scrubbing and monitoring all scheduled procedures
• Experience required with charting system McKesson
• Handle procedures including TAVRs, AAA repair, STEMI, defibrillator and pacemaker insertions or removals
• Perform peripheral angiography including lower extremity angiograms to carotid stent placement
• Required experience with insertion/programming of AICDs (Automatic Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators)
• Work with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Experience with cardiac implant closure devices, stent placement, and percutaneous coronary interventions
• Daily census of 20 patients with 15 visits per day in 5-room facility
• May float within facility scope and to affiliate hospital nearby
• Complete virtual modules on first day of contract (8 hours for new starts)
