RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48 schedules available
• Rotating weekends and rotating holidays required
• Must work every other weekend per contract
• Patient ratios of 1:5 for days, nights, and weekends
• No call responsibilities
• Self-scheduling available
• 24 hours of orientation (16 hours non-billable)
• Must float to Medical/Surgical unit with 1:7 ratios when needed
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIH, AHA ACLS
• Charge experience preferred
• Must live 100 miles from the facility
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions, ICU downgrades, and stroke overflow
• Work with special equipment including bladder scanners, EKGs, and vein finders
• Team nursing model with RN plus one unlicensed personnel
• Participate in nursing student support and clinical education
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital, LTAC, and trauma experience preferred
• Skills include blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, chest tubes, telemetry, and titrating cardiac drips

The facility provides specialized cardiac care including catheterizations, stress tests, and TEEs, with support from IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services.
