RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts caring for both pediatric and adult patients
• Maintain 1:4 patient ratio consistently
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week working three 12-hour shifts
• Weekend requirement: every 3rd weekend
• No on-call responsibilities required
• No floating to other units - remain within scope
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, and PALS
• Navy scrubs required
• EPIC charting system experience
• Special equipment: Glucostabilizer and Level 1 infuser
• Care for patients with variety of chief complaints including abdominal pain, chest pain, stroke symptoms, and musculoskeletal injuries
• Daily census ranges from 120-160 patients
• 25-room emergency department
• Skills required: ventilated patient care, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation, and triage
• 24-hour orientation provided
• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
• Must reside outside 75-mile radius
