Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - CVOR
Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour shifts per week from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM (36 hours/week)
• Shifts scheduled Monday through Friday based on unit needs
• On-call requirements: 6-8 calls per month including weekend coverage
• Holiday call may be required
• May be required to float to like units
• Must be able to scrub and circulate complex open and endovascular cases (FEVAR, EVAR, TCAR, TEVAR, Open AAA, Thrombectomy, AV fistulas, etc.)
• Common procedures include: Endovascular, TEVAR, FEVAR, AAA, EVAR, cold leg, Thrombectomy, Amputation, Carotid, AV Fistula
• 2 years of experience required
• South Carolina RN license or multi-state compact license required at start
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be AHA)
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Must complete non-billable modules (average 4 hours)
• Hurricane season assignment to emergency response teams may be required (June-November)
Facility:
This healthcare facility is a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The facility serves as a teaching hospital and utilizes EPIC charting system. The cardiovascular operating room performs approximately 28 procedures daily across 10 operating rooms. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary services.

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
